Call for papers

We invite researchers and practitioners to submit their short papers to the 18th International Conference on Statistical Analysis of Textual Data (JADT 2026), taking place in Palermo, Italy, from

July 8–10, 2026.

Important Dates

All submissions for JADT 2026 will be managed through the EasyChair system (click here). Participants are invited to submit their short papers according to the schedule below.

Abstract Submission

Submit title + abstract (~300 words, excluding references) in English, Spanish, Italian, or French.

Deadline: January 15, 2026    January 31, 2026

Short Paper Submission

Submit short paper (6–10 pages incl. refs) for evaluation & inclusion.

Deadline: March 15, 2026    March 22, 2026

Acceptance Notification

Receive decision, reviewers’ comments, and revision requests.

Deadline: April 25, 2026    May 6, 2026

Revised Submission

Submit final revised version incorporating feedback.

Deadline: May 4, 2026    May 21, 2026

Early Bird Registration

Register through the Yapla online platform to benefit from the discounted early registration fee.

Deadline: May 31, 2026

Standard Registration

After the early bird deadline, participants can still register through the Yapla online platform at the standard registration fee.

Deadline: June 26, 2026

Publication

Accepted short papers will be included in the proceedings book (ISBN) provided that at least one author pays the conference fee by 31 May 2026.

How to Submit the Short Paper

Authors who have already submitted an abstract are invited to upload their short paper via the EasyChair system.

  • Log in to your EasyChair account
  • Go to your submission page
  • Click on “Update file”
  • Upload your short paper

You may also update other information if needed.

Important: please do not create a new submission. All updates must be made within your existing submission.
